Low Light Shooting: Night Vision
$400
This 2-day / 16-hour instructor development course is based on our Low Light Shooting Instructor Certification course but focuses specifically on IR lasers & night vision devices (NVDs). The use of helmet-mounted monoculars (PVS-14s) and binoculars (PVS-31s) will be explored. In addition, firearms instructors will be exposed to training methodologies that will enhance their low light / night vision range training program to improve their shooter's capabilities and confidence with their night vision equipment. Most basic firearms instructor courses don't even cover the use of IR lasers and NVD's. So, this instructor development course is needed for any firearms instructor tasked with conducting range training for IR lasers & NVDs. Emphasis will be placed on developing live-fire drills that enhance student's ability to use both IR lasers and NVDs on both handguns and shoulder-fired weapons.
This course is PENDING approved by the NRA LE Division for 16 hours of continuing education credit.
NOTE: This course requires the use of carbines / rifles. Students don't need to be certified as a rifle instructor to attend. However, students must have successfully completed a rifle operator certification course of 16+ hours to attend this course.
