This "instructor update" course is a 1-day / 8-hour "add-on" course to pair with one of our other courses for a 2-day or 3-day training event. This course is designed to show pistol instructors the latest in shooting techniques and training methodology. A variety of ideas and philosophies will be discussed and explored among peers.

Topics include:

Weapon presentation ' shooting platform
Reloads
Malfunctions
Conventional / unconventional shooting positions
Shooting from cover
One-handed shooting / injured person techniques
Multiple target engagements
Shooting on the move
And more...

Student Required Equipment:

Semi-automatic pistol and 3 magazines
Duty or belt holster (OWB only)
400 rounds of handgun ammunition
Hearing and eye protection
Hat with a brim
Weather appropriate gear
Snacks and hydration fluids

Hosting Requirements:

Classroom (for 16-20 people) with projector and screen or monitor
A 25-50 yard range / 10 lanes wide minimum
At least eight (8) portable target stands
Traffic / sport cones (8-10)
Four (4) portable cover stands
Steel targets (optional)
