Instructor Development Courses (IDC)
Some firearms instructors are required to attend "continuing education" training to maintain their certification. Some firearms instructors just want an "instructor update" or to gain more experience in specialized areas of firearms training that are never covered in firearms instructor certification courses. The listed instructor development courses are offered to help expand the knowledge and skills of professional firearms instructors.
All instructor development courses cost $175 per day for members. Non-members wanting to attend a course must become a member first, then register for the course. Becoming a member can take as little as 24 hours (excluding weekends).
Organizations hosting an instructor development course will receive a minimum of two (2) FREE spots in the course. Organizations interested in hosting a course should contact us at training@nlefia.org .
